If the prized subscriber fails to claim the prize money within 60 days from the date of auction, a re-auction will be conducted in accordance with Section 22(2) of the Central Chit Funds Act, 1982. As a result, the earlier dividend declared during the original auction will stand cancelled. Any difference in the dividend amount, if applicable, shall be recoverable from the original prized subscriber.
